Cultural Competency in the Workplace 2
Workplace research indicates that many managers have blind spots concerning openness to diversity. The need for schools, corporations, churches and companies to have culturally competent leaders are critical in a global world. In this six hour course, participants will explore the knowledge component through concepts, skill requirements, and ethics associated cultural competency. Additionally, through the basis of proven research on empathy and understanding, participants will explore the skills component through role play on being a competent manager.
